As the new Principal of Garyville/Mt. Airy Math and Science Magnet School, Dr. Kara Lawson is excited to announce that during the 2023-2024 school year GMMS will begin transitioning to further embrace the magnet component of the school and will be focusing on exciting ways to enhance math and science opportunities for GMMS students.
GMMS is currently accepting applications for admission for the 2023-2024 academic year for new students. Current students and new students who live in the GMMS attendance zone do not need to apply, as the application is only for new students living outside of the attendance zone wanting to attend GMMS. If your student is already enrolled at GMMS, their status as a student of the school will not change.
