Data

The St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District remains committed to the health and safety of our students and staff and to keeping our families and community informed.

The information below shows the impact of COVID-19 on our school community and will be updated each week.

Direct contacts are defined as someone who came within 6 feet of an infected individual for 15 minutes or more. Under Louisiana Department of Health and Louisiana Department of Education guidelines, direct contacts must stay home and can return to school after 10 days if no symptoms have emerged or after seven days if they test negative for the virus.

Please note that this information includes positive cases reported by any student or staff member, regardless of where they contracted COVID-19. For more information about COVID-19 in our community, testing and vaccination opportunities, please visit http://www.sjbparish.com/.
