the following job descriptions that were true the Personnel committee on yesterday and that's the revisions to an already approved supervisor correct with assessment and instruction as well as the and it is declining enrollment and the overall program administrator as it relates to a salad and that whole discussion evolve and how we can beef up the program so it was directed toward me to look at how we can enhance our program not on the program but the position itself so what you have before you is a stem program administrator which would be a 12-month and employee and it talks about call East Central duties and responsibilities of that particular individual and a primary focus is to grow the program again if we're in pursuit of excellence and did we feel that this program need something pants misses well if we're going to be competitive with other programs are out there so what you see here is a revised job description with him not only for the administrator for the staffs committee was going to recommendation however I think they're meeting was canceled there for we didn't have any feedback at this time she can do it so that particular range due to the numbers would School and then stem classes at the stem program for we looked at Satellite in the kids in from their campuses we also looking at the certified teacher ratio and if there's a teacher at 1 a scheduling to make that teacher can teach a class at maybe they would leave stem and go teach one class at East 3rd St John or vice versa so we really want to get the SIMs program administrator and please to be able to start it it's in that program but there aren't gifted he also want to take some of these passes and save my did not give me not want to be totally honest gum campus college and Deacon just go at 10 and it's just going to have to move their time from 7:20 to 7:10 to align the schedules they have some students that's them and want to take welding or give me 16 of those trade horses but they very hopeful that that is something that is a priority my administration because I feel that it is necessary so all kids have an equitable opportunity for these classes and just to add I'm sorry to be It hasn't been verified yet because of the my question is that is the part that could change that bottom yet mine is what we have to miss everything else is based on what we have actually is what we've been how we've been trending for this currently opr beginning balance more understandable about where it is so this is what our budget was for this year the only thing that may change it because until we get the Auditors to say they agreed that we had a five million dollar end of your balance on June 30th of 2021 then we can't interview the amendment is tentative Spider-Man here is what we actually have done this correct because you had you had the fiscal year 21 22 original budget that has already been approved not a bad thing it's because we actually have spent less money and it that correct but that's the only team that really has to be that will have to be adjusted once we get the auditor's report yesterday that's where I am concerned that way map to go to set timer for working with the new audit firm the audit firm that historically has audited the district or whatever reason terminated the contract so we have a new audit firm is taking them a little while longer to ask those initial types of questions they have to learn about the district they have to pull those policies and make sure that they're doing an in-depth review whereas the old firm that we were typically used to I already have some of that information on file he has been working with us for years prior to so they were more familiar with they knew how the processes and procedures would float a little bit better than this so right now we're still in what I say the preliminary stages of the audit where is more of a back-and-forth they're requesting documentation we're providing them with documentation it's a lot of different schedules you have to explain exactly how the district operates to them they're learning and then we're going to so we're learning as well so is it the back-and-forth mainly like at this point so we're anticipating on having that part of the process complete by the June 30th deadline and then some to Auditor's if they so choose to they'll schedule a site visit to look at anything they want to come see on-site versus virtually and then once they scheduled it then it'll be up to them to write the report and submit that to the legislative Auditor's Strawberry Village, try to make the meeting on Monday but in like the next item is a comprehensive budget the church if you're going to be ready so is he going to be based on 13 million that you're able to anticipate that we have right now Surplus our projected net based off we're 22 Revenge so it's kind of a trickle-down effect until we finalize the new fiscal year 21 numbers it will change your beginning balances but that's where we think we are beyond our projections and okay also which you're taking also taking into consideration that the additional money came from the Abilene Texas budget information was prepared to be presented at the financing a meeting that was held May 18th I believe with the date of that meaning we've been having ongoing meeting since then to talk about that we would make to  cuz you're 23 so we already know that it's not definitely know that they're going to be changes we have something that we can at least start the fiscal year with us and getting they're using the estimated local dollars for this current fiscal year ending June 30th 22 they're using dollar amount so that they can apply it to any mfp revista revisions that they do in that typically occurs in March or March of 2023 you would see that adjustment made and then we wouldn't know whether they adjusted MP dollars of what thou based on this so we would see the effects of that in March 2023 I think you were supposed to be two years I know it's hard with the meeting and eating what is really in love Finance and that is a that will be salary starting out yes on Amazon 7/16 were happened but to have something to start the fiscal year off with I guess but I know we are stuck at his July 2112 June 30th 2021 getting that audit straight because it has an effect on the amended and has the effect of where are you where I can come in we're saying that next year if the that five million dollars at the end of June of 2021 we're looking at potentially having a 19 million dollar fund out that and I guess what I wanted everybody to be aware of is that this is so much more information than the cat for a while so it is I want you to know I appreciate getting this and it takes a lot to get through where all the pieces are I guess what I want is a show some sign free for us having all of the fiscal issues that we do have it in that last year I can't say whether we did or didn't but we were told me just that this is a good sign that we are trying to live within our means and then you know we have sweet sweet we still have the thing about catching up I just think I think we need to be prepared to have all of the and here's where I'm going to go it's going to be hard like this until it's good for us to adopted without knowing that we actually know what that final dollar amount I know it has to be turned into the state in September and what you know we don't have an issue yet but we will it be June 23rd meeting we don't have that map I guess what I'm saying is went how do we get the Auditors to understand trying to be on track maybe if we don't have an issue and I'm just throwing it out there on June 23rd because we have such the date that for the actual adoption but at least gives us a starting so I'm just I'm just looking for ways to make sure we are. real number and what we might be able to do to help us together so the Same Soul with regard to the June 20th Thursday there is a 15-day posting requirement that but what about you and soul the recommendation for that was to actually have it printed in the newspaper which the earliest the next print really would apply with the salary schedule as with the budget that we have a lot of discussions that are currently taking place that haven't been finalized yet in categories with a salary schedule so basically what you have is the chain are the changes that we know for a fact that will be taking place which would include the state refund status so that would be the only change in this particular salary schedule right now versus what the salary schedule for fiscal year 2122 and we anticipate it's a minute once he further discussions in the salary study committee 72 lift a hiring freeze for cut assistant principal Math teachers and disciplinary actions at school sites and it was said at one of the meetings at state statistics show that the impact the students on. inside the classroom central office doesn't affect just do it so how we address and do you want me to do stats from the school's as far as the AP the disciplinarian and Math teachers cuz if the principal is there has to handle discipline and try to work on curriculum it's going to be very hard to move move the scores yes I agree I do feel like we need to look at the data and address The Cutting of the disciplinarian we have a playback Master Teachers into all of the schools and some of the schools are using their Title 1 funds to have an additional Master teacher they will also have Mentor teachers this year but with regards to the central office staff I just wanted to State before we went on that I feel like the most important challenge that we are facing right now is the salary of our employees especially the teacher and support staff and we are hoping to have a solution but I know with the budget that we don't have those five numbers we would like to have had a solution by June 23rd with regards to employee raises but with that being said the only positions I would advertise for on the organizational chart at this time are the director of data management the title 3 coordinator in the to curriculum facilitators and both the title 3 in curriculum facilitator or one is fully through a grin and one is partially funded through a grant in the only other one would be the transportation coordinator once that job description is approved so no other positions besides those would be filled at his time and we do have a lack of Clerks in the central office many people are doing and that goes back to the siphon issue so we have one clerk clerking three departments right now so those would be the only positions that I would be asking an advertising for at this moment but I do feel like we need to meet as a curriculum committee to the assistant principals and disciplinarian because the data shows that there are a few schools that do need a disciplinarian director of data management title 3 coordinator in Korean facilitators which are to those are already in this year's budgets they just were not replaced to Physicians title 3 in curriculum or partially grant-funded and then the only other position would be after the transportation coordinator job description is filled we would fill that position but that is also in the budget right now as a supervisor because it was being paid already this year I need the technology department goes Brandon house a week now we have to redo those job descriptions as well so that is on the next Personnel committee agenda we still made we may have over budgeted some of those salaries do need change to be less Indian movie you know I just want to clarify because I said this in the finance committee meeting is that I do believe that we need to make sure we're address I know that we need people because I think part of our issues at the school where we've been with  since we have not provided as much before you put them in the pool and I know that was one of my stations at Finance at the people that were talking about feeling we're going to be spending more of their time in school buildings and they are and just go and and and
