Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)
In St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools, we believe, ALL students will learn at high levels and master grade level standards through the aligned educator actions that are anchored in high expectations and equity to ensure access and opportunity for all.
In accordance with R.S. 17:1944, SJBPPS is required to create a special education advisor council (SEAC). The purpose of the SJBPPS SEAC is to provide suggestions, advice, and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. The SEAC also engages in outreach activities in the community at large to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration with respect to Exceptional Student Services.
